Our pricing for labor is simple and easy:

 

Tier 1 Recovery (Filesystem corruption, deleted files, etc.): $200

Tier 2 Recovery (PCB Failure, some firmware repairs, some electronics repair): $350 (plus parts)

Tier 3 Recovery (HSA Replacement, Clean-room Recovery, complex electronics repair): $400-900 (plus parts)

 

Plus any of the following additional items as they increase recovery time and complexity:

[+$100] Mac Filesystems

[+$100] Encryption

[+$100] More than 2TB of DATA [not drive space, actual data]

[+$50] USB External Hard Drives or many newer Seagate Drives

 

We can also now do RAID Recovery and have done recovery for even some more obscure systems [such as an 8-drive Drobo NAS], quoted upon request.

 

As has always been our practice, we adhere strictly to the industry-best practice of no data, no charge. If we can’t get anything off your drive, we don’t charge you for the attempt, even if we had it for months, so you can rest with confidence that your Tech Confidant will get your data back or return it to you at no cost!
